Origins
Rice farmers are now planting the processing results in the laboratory and natural breeding and artificial centuries from wild rice.
Because land is limited, scientists are studying the genetic modification of rice plants to create new varieties with high yield, resistant to disease and extreme weather, which reduced the time to fertilize and early harvest. The initial success of genetically modified rice have been noted, but now scientists have yet to agree on whether this type of rice have adverse impacts on human health or not.
Production
Rice is rice products and is in the process of agricultural production, which often includes the following main stages: soil preparation, choosing rice seeds, sowing, nursery coating, transplanting, fertilization (fertilizing, water poured), harvesting and milling.

In Africa, nearly all of the 38 countries of the 54 rice growing countries, but the rice area in Madagascar and Nigeria accounted for 60% of total rice area of 8.5 million hectares equivalent of the continent. Africa's rice productivity is low, about 1.5 tons / ha and only 40% yield of Asia.
Most rice comes in rice production (ie inundated rice fields to a stricter standard), but the species also grows rice on the steep slopes that require less irrigation.
Rice production in Vietnam
Vietnam has two main rice-growing areas are the Red River delta in the north and the Mekong Delta in the south. Annual production of 33-34 million tons the country was rice, which only uses about 8 million tons (equivalent to 4 million tons of rice after milling) for export, the rest is consumed domestically and additional national reserves.
In the North a year has two main rice crop: Crop Services and contemplate.
In the South, farmers grow three crops a year: winter-spring (with the highest yield and grain quality is also best for export), and for three summer crop. Due to annual floods in the Mekong Delta in recent years affecting production, another segment of people can make a profit from the more stable aquaculture (shrimp) or fruit growing, the government has farmer recommends reducing and converting paddy land for part three.
Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development is in charge of management of rice production in Vietnam.
